On May 5th, 2012, the Tacoma Rifle and Revolver Club hosted the Manley Oakley memorial shoot. A two day event with Sporter class on Saturday, and Heavy Varmint on Sunday.

Saturday brought the cool conditions of springtime in the Northwest.  Saturday`s wind was very switchy, with difficult to read conditions for some.  We began at 100 yards. Mike Zdilar shot a nice teeny (no pun intended),  .1808" agg.  That afternoon at 200, Allen Tucker showed his wind reading abilities and won the yardage with a .2677" aggregate. Allen Tucker would take the Sporter Grand agg with a .2362".

Sunday brought milder conditions for us.  We shot the Heavy Varmint class at 200 yards in the morning. Rick Graham shot a .2255" agg. to win the yardage. At 100 yards, Allen Tucker took the yardage posting a teen agg of .1992". Rick Graham would hang on to take the Heavy Varmint Grand agg with a .2351".

The Two Gun and Manley Oakley Trophy were awarded to Allen Tucker with a .2388" agg.

Nice shooting guys.
