FUNDRAISERS

THE DRAWINGS FOR THE TWO RAFFLES WERE HELD ON OCTOBER 10, 2008.  THE WINNER OF THE BENCHREST RIFLE WAS BUTCH LAMBERT FROM TEXAS.  THE WINNER OF THE AMERICAN FLAG AND 500 HOTTENSTEIN BULLETS WAS GEORGE CARTER OF CANADA.  A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL WHO DONATED ITEMS, HELPED SELL TICKETS AND THOSE WHO SUPPORTED THE TEAM BY PURCHASING THEM.

A special thanks to Bogie (Chuck Bogardus) for selling the 50/50 tickets at the Super Shoot. He raised $1080.00 for the World Team.

Elisabeth Reed (wife of shooter Greg Reed) has been working really hard putting together a "Benchrest" cookbook.  She requested recipes from the shooters, their wives, and family/friends.  It will be unique to the Benchrest shooting world as she has included pictures in the cookbook and other benchrest stuff.  The cookbook are now being sold.  They  sell for $20.00 each. She is willing to ship these with the cost of shipping (approx. $5.00 per book ) added to the $20.00.

The total cost for printing 250 cookbooks is $2870.00.  Elisabeth and Greg have been kind enough to pay for the books. The money will be deposited into the World Team account but no monies will be used from this benefit until they have been reimbursed. Once they are reimbursed, all monies will go to the World Team for expenses.

We are in need of donations and sponsorships to help pay the expenses. I am in the process of sending  letters to various businesses requesting assistance.  All sponsors will receive recognition on the U. S. WBC10 web site and other media and offer use of the team logo for your web site, print media and advertising.  If you are interested in helping in anyway, please contact me.

SALE OF COOKBOOKS

106 sold to date - $2120.00

2009 World Team pins are available for a donation of $5.00.  A special thanks to Jeff Stover for heading up this project.  He designed the pins and also arranged production.
